After collapsing twice separately with two ruptured cruciate ligaments our recovering Retriever was delighted to see Abigail again at Storrington’s, purpose built Hydrotherapy Centre at South Downs Veterinary Referrals. Her Surgeon recommended Hydrotherapy sessions for recovery and she is now back to full fitness with periodic visits. Our Dog greeted Abi like a long lost friend and soon familiarised herself with the much better set up here. After a gentle rinse off in the purpose made shower area our dog was back into rehabilitation, in the gentle, practiced, qualified hands of Abigail. We regularly visit Abbie for hydrotherapy with our black Labrador Ollie. He absolutely adores her and the attention and care she gives him goes above and beyond. Such a caring helpful team. A warm welcome, efficient admin support at front desk, with insurance claims, repeat medication. Urgent appointments day or night, expert advice and often the opportunity for continuity of care with the same vet each visit. But the stand out for me is Vicky the physio, she has got to know my little dog and all his quirky ways, she is kind and patient and we both feel better after his appointment. In the winter of my dogs life she is keeping him comfortable and relaxed and I am truly grateful. Rafferty loves his visits with Vicky. Our working cocker Amber has pins in her back and a plate in her leg but still runs around like the busy spaniel she is. This is due to not only the amazing veterinary surgeons she had, but also the fantastic care given by Abi, Vicky and Becky whose physio and hydro skills have worked magic in her recovery. Amber loves life and they have given her the opportunity to be active whilst also managing her on going care.
