Diagnostic imaging

We use advanced imaging techniques to get a clear picture of your pet’s health:

Outpatient CT

While X-ray allows us to see changes in the bones, and ultrasound is useful for soft tissues, CT enables us to see what’s happening in both the bone and soft tissue structures with incredible detail.
Available at our Storrington hospital, our state-of-the-art CT scanner enables us to diagnose problems in hard to reach parts of the body.
If your pet is admitted for CT, we provide the results as soon as full interpretation of the images has been completed. This generally takes 3-4 working days (depending on urgency), so we won’t have this information ready when you collect your pet.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound provides a detailed view of the soft tissue structures of the body. We use ultrasound to help diagnose conditions and also to guide some procedures, such as biopsies.
